Dubai Auto Market, established in the early 2000s, is one of the largest and most recognized destinations for buying and selling cars in Dubai and across the UAE. Located in the Ras Al Khor Industrial Area, it stands at the center of Dubai’s automotive hub, attracting car buyers, sellers, and dealerships from across the region.
The market is divided into two main phases. Phase 1 comprises approximately 130 showrooms, and Phase 2 includes around 74 showrooms. Phase 1 was developed in late 1999 at a cost of AED 55 million, followed by Phase 2, completed at a cost of AED 95 million. Together, they host hundreds of showrooms offering new, used, and specialty vehicles, serving both individual buyers, car traders and car dealerships. The market also offers a wide range of essential automotive services, including vehicle testing and inspection, maintenance, and shipping, along with public facilities for visitors.
Located next to the Dubai Auto Zone (DAZ), which includes over 400 additional showrooms, the entire Ras Al Khor automotive district, encompassing both Dubai Auto Market and Dubai Auto Zone, is commonly referred to by the public as Al Aweer Auto Market (also spelled Al Awir Auto Market).
